Volume XXXVIII: Praise & Thanks
Writers were asked to submit poems and prose pieces that praised or offered gratitude for something—from the tenderest kinds of love to thankfulness for the love felt even amid loss and grief.
We got marvelous pieces celebrating nature, friends and loved ones, pets, parents, partners, children, the body—even the removal of a splint on an arm.
In here are words of gratitude for those who risk their lives for others and praise for the muse that allows us to, in one writer’s words, keep “writing what I need to write, sharing what I need to share.”
