Offering writers ways of being and writing together virtually.
In 2020, it was no longer safe to write together in-person. However, we continued to gather. Writers in online groups have said that the experience helped them sleep at night and get through the day.
Maureen Buchanan Jones and Katie Frank offered two post-certificate sessions in March and April of that year. We explored best practices and potential issues when leading AWA-method groups online.

In 2025, we decided to update this offering with what we’ve learned about Zoom in the last five years.
Susan (Deepam) Wadds and Matthew Curlewis presented a new version of Taking AWA Online, with different perspectives and best practices about what makes virtual groups thrive. You can check that video out below as well.
