Volunteer to lead for Write Around the World (WAW)

Write Around the World, AWA’s annual fundraiser event that has previously been in the month of May, is moving to February in 2025!

If you’re an AWA-certified facilitator willing to volunteer to lead a group (or two) to raise money for AWA and also introduce yourself to new writers, we’d love for you to let us know below.

Please use the following form to share information about yourself and then share the date, time, and description of the group(s) you’d like to lead.

We will publish your groups to our Write Around the World calendar and promote them, and we’ll provide resources to help you advertise as well. You’ll receive an email each time someone signs up, and the week of the session, AWA will be in touch with a full contact list. If you share the Zoom invite you plan to use with us, we’ll also make sure it’s automatically sent out to your participants.

Facilitator Buddies

Sign up below to receive the mentorship of a buddy or to offer your support and feedback to a fellow leader.
An AWA facilitator will consult with you prior to your workshop, participate as a writer in the workshop, and offer helpful feedback after it concludes.
You’ll get to choose which workshop works best with your interests and schedule.
