Amherst Writers & Artists (AWA) is proud to partner with the US based nonprofit RAINN (Rape and Incest National Network). As part of this partnership, AWA will be hosting a number of Caregiver Project writing workshops specifically designed for RAINN staff and volunteers who provide free, confidential, and around the clock support to the more than 800 people who reach out for help each day through RAINN’s victim’s services programs, including the National Sexual Assault Hotline (NSAH). As of 2023, RAINN’s staff and volunteers have provided care to more than 4.3 million people through their victim’s services programs.
