Your year-end gift honors all voices

As this year comes to a close, we’re celebrating all we’ve accomplished and asking you to fund our work in 2025.

This year, with so much community support, AWA has:

Trained 30 new workshop leaders, 26% of whom received scholarship funds (including the new Sexual Assault Survivors’ Voices scholarship).
Expanded our Power of Story workshops, offering groups for hundreds of Caregivers, many of whom received financial assistance to attend.
Launched a new edition of AWA’s literary magazine, Peregrine, on the subject of Caregiving and hosted two online readings to celebrate
In addition, published two anthologies, We’ve Been Put Through Fire and Come Out Divine and We’ve Got Some Things to Say, showcasing the voices of survivors of sexual violence. Two contributors have since trained as AWA facilitators and are bringing the AWA method to more survivors.
Held our most successful Write Around the World fundraiser and made plans to move it to February in 2025.
Grew our Writers’ Membership to nearly 200 members, introducing writers everywhere to the magic of the AWA method.
