Pushcart Prize-nominated author of fiction and poetry, AWA facilitator Barbara Krasner offers workshops on Writing Family History, Writing the Past, Using Photographs to Craft Story, and Creating the Full First Draft. Barbara holds an MFA in Writing for Children & Young Adults from the Vermont College of Fine Arts, and a PhD in Holocaust & Genocide Studies from Gratz College. She is the author of more than forty books for young readers, including the prize-winning biographical novel in verse for young adults, ETHEL'S SONG: ETHEL ROSENBERG'S LIFE IN POEMS (Calkins Creek, 2022). Her literary work has appeared in Michigan Quarterly Review, Peregrine, South 85, Gravel, Kelsey Review, Paterson Literary Review, Nimrod, Cimarron Review, and many other literary journals.
